Milwaukee Academy of Science is delighted to be awarded one of the eight grants on behalf of the Burke Foundation. We look forward to investing the grant to increases general operations including instructional technology, instructional support staff, and administrative support.
The Burke Foundation was founded by late Richard Burke, former chairperson of Trek Bicycle. The foundation is committed to enhancing and improving the character, quality, and access to education, the personal, social and intellectual development of children and youth, and the educational and social quality of community life.
Milwaukee Academy of Science is honored to stand in the legacy and among the other outstanding grant recipients such as MAS partner’s PEARLS for Teen Girls, Marquette Trinity Fellows, and Milwaukee Boys & Girls Club.
